What to Ask Before Paying a Medical Facilitator in China
A medical facilitator can be useful, but only if the service solves a real coordination problem. Before paying, separate fear from value.

- Is your fee separate from the hospital bill?
- Can I pay the hospital directly?
- Which hospital and doctor are you recommending, and why?
- Will I receive the appointment confirmation, receipts, test results, and doctor notes?
- What happens if the appointment is cancelled or the doctor is unavailable?
Good answers sound specific
A trustworthy service can explain the hospital route, expected fee range, document needs, translation scope, and refund rules. Vague answers like "we have special access" are not enough.
Simple rule: do not pay a large upfront fee until the service scope, hospital costs, refund rules, and appointment details are written down.
Worth knowing: Paid help is not the enemy. Before paying, make sure you know what problem the fee solves, what the hospital itself charges, and what you could do directly.
